The Austrian eSport association (esvö) organizes several computer and console gaming leagues every year. The top games of every season are part of the Austrian Masters League and through a series of online and/or offline tournaments players can qualify for the national finals. For the last decade the finals themselves have been an integral part of the yearly GAME CITY in the city hall of Vienna. With over 78.000 visitors in 2015 the GAME CITY is one of the largest gaming exhibitions in Europe and a focal point for all eSport related activities in Austria.
