Belgium is one of the founding members of IeSF and has a long-standing in eSports with a wide variety of games. It has hosted a range of high profile tournaments, and the country was host to the Semi-Finals of the League of Legends World Championship in 2015. The Belgian eSports Federation (short: BESF) is trying to build up eSports in Belgium from the ground up, starting with the players and teams and supporting them in their effort to become more professional.
