About
The Namibian Electronic Sports Association (NESA) is the official governing and representative body for e-Sports in Namibia and has been registered with the Namibia Sports Commission (government) since 2010. NESA was established to promote and develop gaming as a sport in Namibia and across Southern Africa by providing opportunities and events for local gamers. Namibia is a sparsely populated country with only approximate 2.4 million people, this results in a rather small but dedicated gaming community. NESA hosts various gaming competitions and events within Namibia such as LAN events, Online Tournaments, and exhibitions to promote e-Sports.
