AMERICAS REGIONAL QUALIFIERS FOR WORLD ESPORTS CHAMPIONSHIP CONCLUDED

The International Esports Federation (IESF) concluded an action-packed round of regional qualifiers for the 2023 World Esports Championship. The Americas round of the regional qualifiers was held online from May 18 to June 3 and saw eight countries qualify for the World Esports Championships Finals in Iași, Romania.

The competition was as fierce as ever this year, with 16 nations having competed in the Americas qualifiers across four game titles: CS:GO, Dota 2, PUBG Mobile, and Mobile Legends: Bang Bang.

The countries in each game title that have qualified directly to the Finals include:

  • CS:GO: Colombia, Guatemala, Argentina, United States
  • Mobile Legends: Bang Bang: Colombia, Brazil, United States
  • DOTA 2: Ecuador, Peru, United States
  • PUBG Mobile: Argentina, Chile, Colombia   
  • CS:GO Women: Argentina, Brazil, United States
