International Esports Federation (IESF) Secretary General and esteemed esports industry veteran Boban Totovski delivered an engaging presentation at the 2023 Esports Insider (ESI) “The Future of Esports Uncovered” conference, which took place in Singapore from June 20 and 21.
Totovski asked ESI attendees, “Why Esports?” during his main-stage presentation, during which he further explained the history of IESF, its organizational breakdown and partnerships. He also took time to highlight IESF’s annual flagship event, the World Esports Championship, and how the event has evolved and diversified over the years and contributed to the overall growth of esports. Totovksi concluded his presentation by analyzing the differences between traditional sports and esports and the common ground between the two.

We look forward to future collaboration with the esports industry leaders we have met as we get closer to the 2023 World Esports Championship coming up in Iasi, Romania.”

Totovski was joined by representatives from several of IESF’s 134 Member Federations including, Vlad Marinescu, Gerald Solomon, Jorell Batac, Nalain Naidoo, and Samart Benjamin Assarasakorn, which helped amplify IESF’s presence at the event and provide networking opportunities for the World Esports Family.
ESI Singapore featured over 300 attendees and 40 diverse esports professionals who spoke and explored some of esports’ most relevant topics. The conference held two sessions over two days that covered themes such as revenue, diversification, esports ecosystems, education, and more. Social events were hosted for attendees to create networking opportunities and engage in a friendly and professional environment.
ESI welcomed IESF as a Silver partner for its first and most anticipated event of the year. Totovski’s presentation also marked IESF’s first speaking appearance at an ESI event, signaling IESF’s growth and progress towards providing even more opportunities for the World Esports Family within the esports industry.
