HRH Prince Faisal was elected president of the International Esports Federation during the Extraordinary General Meeting today in Busan, South Korea. He was elected with 71 votes in favor or 98,6%, and his presidential term will run through 2025.
HRH Prince Faisal was appointed Acting President of IESF on October 3, 2023, following former President Vlad Marinescu’s decision to step down from the position. HRH Prince Faisal has been instrumental in growing esports in Saudi Arabia and will help IESF achieve its goal of promoting sustainable and responsible gaming worldwide.

IESF will conclude an action-packed year with the World Esports Summit, taking place on November 28 and 29 in Busan, South Korea. HRH Prince Faisal is set to participate in a panel discussion that will take a behind-the-scenes look into hosting the world’s biggest esports events.
