eFootball PES 2020 Final Results:

Gold: Iran (Hassan Pajani)
Silver: Japan (Ryo Hirai)
Bronze: Macau, China (Ka Kin Leong)

The Bronze Medal Match of the eFootball PES 2020 tournament pitted Macau, China versus Poland in the best of three format. The audience came alive with every goal as gamer “MacauKengaroo” from Macau,China took the closely contested first match 3 goals to 2 from Poland’s “MisiekLFC”. The second game was less close, with the athlete from Macau, China winning 4-1 to secure the bronze medal with a 2 games to 0 win.The Gold Medal Match saw Japan’s “udi” square off against Iran’s “Hasan.Pajani”. These two athletes had been matched up in the Group Stage, where Japan had managed a convincing 3-0 victory. There were a lot of Japanese supporters in the arena to cheer “udi” on, and a lot of the arena got behind the underdog Iranian athlete, creating a great atmosphere for competition.Game 1 was epic. Iran went up 2 goals to 0 early on, only to see Japan tie the game 2-2 in the 88th minute of competition. Japan then went up 3-2 in the 110th minute of extra time. Everyone present thought the game was over until Iran drew even at the 119 minute mark, the last possible moment. Iran then went on to win 3-1 on penalty kicks.Game 2 was full of goals, with Japan scoring twice late to secure a 5-2 victory, setting up a tie-breaking 3rd game.
Game 3 went to halftime tied 1-1. Tensions were high as Iran scored two goals in the first 10 minutes of the second half. Iran’s “Hasan.Pajani” was pumped up as he sensed that victory was in reach. After Japan made it a one goal game at the 58 minute mark, Iran went back up by two just a minute later, and then added another to put it away, winning 5-2 and securing the gold medal for Iran.
