International e-Sports Federation (IeSF) cultivates international e-sports referee through the international referee training program. IeSF has concluded the MOU with Chung-Ang University and E-Rak Digital Culture Research Institute forinternational e-sports referee training on last 23rd. IeSF has concluded the MOU with Chung-Ang University and E-Rak Digital Culture Research Institute for international e-sports referee training on last 23rd. Through this MOU, these three parties agreed with mutual cooperation for international referee cultivation and research for e-sports development, and will propel the exchange of human resource and co-business. With the collaboration through this MOU, the training program for international referee will be consigned to Chung-Ang University, and the referee academy will be operated from December 2011 as school-work links program. E-Rak Digital Culture Research Institute and Chung-Ang University will take over the education part, and the applicable publishers will take charge of practice through field experience. IeSF will be in charge of certifying the international referees through official test for 1st to 3rd level of referee. Also, IeSF will conduct repair education annually for improvement of referees’ qualification. In accordance with the period of 1st level referee activity, referee supervisor and instructor qualification will be issued.
IeSF will expand this program to professional programs for e-sports administration, operation, marketing and etc, then, as relating with the educational institutes such as undergraduate and graduate programs, attempt to establish the basis of e-sports human resource. With the experience of nationwide program, they also attempt to expand it to international academy level.
The secretary general of IeSF, Mr. WS Oh said, “International e-sports referee training program at this time will develop and seize the fine human resources, and establish the infrastructure of e-sports.”
