Won-Suk Oh, Secretary-General of International e-Sports Federation (IeSF) visited Israel for four days to have a meeting with deputy director general of the ministry of culture and sport in Israel. This gathering was arranged by Vgames, a leading e-Sports organization that has managed more than 25 LAN events including WCG and ESWC national qualifiers for 9 years in Israel. In order to be recognized as only sole e-Sport organization that represents its country and to make e-sport regarded as true sport, Vgames invites IeSF to get IeSF’s helpful advice in a meeting with the Israeli
ministry of culture and sport.
Won-Suk Oh initiated IeSF’s vision to the Israeli ministry of culture and sport and shared ideas of prospective e-sports during the meeting. The results were generally satisfactory for all parties btaining a favorable response from the ministry of culture and sport. Besides the meeting with the deputy director of the Israeli ministry, IeSF visited Korean embassy in Israel as well as civic center to promote e-Sport in the region.
*Vgames is currently on the progress of getting government approval and IeSF will keep have great relationship with it.
