The Bahrain Esports Federation (BESF) is a non-profit organization that promotes and develops esports in Bahrain. The federation was established in 2020 and is recognized by the Kingdom of Bahrain’s Ministry of Youth Affairs, Bahrain Olympic Committee and the General Sports Authority. Its primary goal is to create a sustainable and thriving esports ecosystem in Bahrain, that fosters growth, competitiveness, and inclusion. The Bahrain Esports Federation envisions a future where esports in Bahrain is a well-established and thriving industry, where players and teams have access to state-of-the-art facilities, technology, and training programs. The federation aims to establish Bahrain as a hub for esports in the Middle East, by hosting international events, attracting global investments, and collaborating with international organizations to advance esports. The ultimate goal is to create a sustainable esports ecosystem that benefits the economy, society, and individuals in Bahrain.
