Founded in 2013, officially registered in 2016 and previously known as liga Tica de Leyendas (LTL) for its most prominent tournament, the Costarrican Esports League (LCDE) is the leading esports organization in the country and a member of IESF in representation of Costa Rica. The LCDE is recognized internationally by IESF as the Costarrican Esports Federation and the esports ruling entity in the country. The LCDE is focused on the construction of a healthy and sustainable environment for the regulated and institutionalized esports practice in Costa Rica and works tirelessly towards the recognition of esports as an official sport.
