ESFI is the National Governing Body for all esports in India with objectives to promote, encourage, organize, educate, train and control Electronic Sports (Esports) and to provide facilities for training, to build and sustain the eco-system for esports not limiting to enabling, conceptualizing, opening, managing, running, developing, facilitating, and promoting all areas and related forms of esports in the country. ESFI got first ever Bronze Medal for India at Asian Games 2018 (Jakarta) in Esports (Hearthstone), where esports was a demonstration title.
