The Italian Federation of Electronic Disciplines (FIDE) was born from the commitment of enthusiasts and experts in the Esports sector, officially taking this form in 2020 when it embarked on a path aimed at giving institutional character to Esports. FIDE proposes itself as the main interlocutor for the promotion of Esports in Italy, disciplines capable of igniting the same passion in people of different ages, genders and nationalities. Since its foundation, FIDE has set itself as its main objectives continuous training and presence on the national territory, elements that combine with the international character that has always characterized both this phenomenon and the Federation. Over the years, in fact, FIDE has established relations with numerous countries both in Europe and in the world with the underlying desire to allow its affiliates to participate in numerous international competitions.
