The NEW ZEALAND ESPORTS FEDERATION INCORPORATED is the recognized voice of Esports in New Zealand and exists to support and grow competitive gaming. The NZESF is a not-for-profit initiative, and has been set up with the aim of positively shaping the future of competitive gaming in NZ. The E Blacks is the New Zealand national team and represents New Zealand on the international eSports stage in amateur competitions. A healthy competitive gaming scene already existed in New Zealand prior to the establishment of the NZESF but no formal body to represent or develop the industry further. Esports has rapidly grown internationally in the last 12 months and the founders of the NZESF do not want to see NZ left behind.
