The Swiss E-Sports Federation SESF is a founding member of the International e-Sports Federation and has been federating E-Sports in Switzerland since 2008. It operates Swiss National E-Sports Championships, Qualification Tournaments for the IeSF, and maintains active networking with the Swiss E-Sports Community. In recent years Swiss media has paid more and more attention to the topic of E-Sports and thereby the SESF has often been a source of information for the media as well as for the general public. In 2016 the SESF will undergo a major step of reorganization to further improve its legitimacy in the E-Sports community.
