The International Esports Federation announces that the European Continental Body, European Esports Federation (EEF), has concluded its General Assembly held on April 27th, 2024, in Poland, marking an important step forward in the organization’s leadership and strategic direction. The assembly involved the elections of the EEF President, new Board Members, and Audit Committee members, all aimed at guiding the EEF into its next phase of growth and development.

Representatives from all European Esports federations gathered to participate in this event, reflecting the united commitment to advancing Esports across the continent.

The newly elected EEF President, Mr. Andrzej Kraśnicki (Poland), brings a vision and leadership that will shape the future of Esports in Europe, promoting the values and aspirations of the federation.

Alongside the presidential election, the assembly introduced the newly elected board members: Ms. Mia Kraljević–Ćalasan (Montenegro), Mr. Boban Totovski (North Macedonia), Ms. Elin Yoojung Moen (Norway), Mr. Chester King (UK), Mr. Karol Cagan (Slovakia), Mr. Sami Kaidi (Sweden), Mr. Alper Afsin Özdemir (Turkey). Their diversity and collective efforts will ensure a dynamic and forward-thinking leadership team for the EEF.

The elections for the Audit Committee resulted in the selection of three members – Mr. Balázs György Biró (Hungary), Ms. Arantza López (Spain), and Mr. Chris Jonasson (Sweden). This committee plays a very important role in ensuring transparency and accountability within the EEF, contributing to the integrity and trustworthiness of the organization.

Prior to the General Assembly, representatives from EEF, IESF, and GEF were honored to attend a reception with Polish President Andrzej Duda, where they engaged in discussions regarding the strategic development of Esports in Poland.

This significant meeting underscored the government’s direct support for the European Esports Federation and laid the groundwork for future initiatives aimed at fostering the growth and inclusivity of Esports not only in Poland but also across Europe.

Building upon the memorandum of understanding (MOU) signed between IESF and GEF in December, the unified backing for EEF by both organizations represents a pivotal step toward fostering collaboration and unity within the global Esports community
