As one of the founders and the former president of the European Esports Federation, Ido Brosh has continually contributed to the global expansion of esports through his determination and perseverance. Serving as a board member of IESF since the elections in 2019, he helped restore the organization’s credibility and capacity to become the unifying force for the esports family. Representing the Israel Esports Association in the past years was only part of the duties he voluntarily gives to esports, and it’s an honor to have him as part of our organization.

Biggest challenge that you’ve overcome in your professional career
One of the biggest challenges I’ve faced in my professional career was hosting the 2020 and 2021 IESF World Championship in Israel amidst the COVID-19 pandemic. It required a lot of adaptation and coordination with various stakeholders to ensure the safety of the players and staff while also delivering a successful and memorable tournament. It was a test of resilience and determination from implementing strict health protocols to reconfiguring the tournament format. Despite the obstacles, we successfully pulled off the event and received positive feedback from the participants and audiences. This experience taught me the importance of flexibility and resourcefulness in facing adversity and how it can lead to innovative solutions and even better outcomes.
What are some of your goals for 2023?
My goals for 2023 are focused on both personal and professional growth. Personally, I am committed to continuing my development by expanding my skill set and improving my abilities. On the professional front, my objective is to deliver progress and great experiences to Esports fans worldwide. This means staying on top of industry trends and advancements, and using this knowledge to create innovative solutions that enhance the overall experience for fans. My ultimate goal is to make a meaningful impact in the Esports industry and to help drive it forward into the future.
