As part of this partnership, which began in May of this year, the IESA has been helping Make-A-Wish® create unique experiences for children and teenagers who are gamers.
To date, IESA has helped grant two wishes. One of these wishes is that of 14-year-old Hananel from Jerusalem who is fighting a critical illness. His wish was to have gaming PC set. The set was installed near his hospital bed.
Make-A-Wish® Israel was establishes in 1996 by Denise and Avi Bar-Aharon and has since granted 3,500 transformational wishes to children in Israel, between the ages of 3-18, with critical illnesses.
IESA is the non-profit eSports association in Israel, dedicated to promoting, maintaining and supporting the development of Electronic Sports in the State of Israel.
IESA’s president, Ido Brosh, said: “I am very glad we could help Make-A-Wish create meaningful and unique experiences for gamers with critical illnesses. One of our association’s goals is to promote all gamers in Israel, be it casual or professional, and that’s why we are grateful for the opportunity to donate our resources and expertise and join forces with Make-A-Wish to make wishes come true, and I am looking forward to expend our collaboration. I want to thank Tami and the Make-A-Wish team, as well as Gil Ronen (member of the Audit Committee at IESA), for their seriousness and responsiveness in making this happen.”
