THEY HAVE ARRIVED

There’s been a lot of skepticism around the Female Esports existence, a lot of insecurities about whether they gonna survive the many crossroads the Esports industry has on its way, and the last two years, they decided to come out with a statement, we are here to stay!

Namely, the 14th World Esports Championship for the first time in its existence, included Female CS:GO competition, not knowing the interest or the outcome that will follow, guided exclusively by the idea of uplifting the Female Esports scene, providing it with the right conditions to grow.

And they grew indeed. By the time the Championship in Bali was over, many people were impressed by the girl’s performance and continued to follow them throughout the year, a fact that was confirmed in this year’s IESF Regional Qualifiers where they were leading in terms of popularity almost everywhere. Arguably, the existence of the dilemma in traditional sports, that females cannot perform as well as males, seems to be fading away when it comes to Esports.

Today, with the 15th World Esports Championship being just around the corner, we’re witnessing a 2 times increase in the Female competition, counting up to 10 teams, each of them having the skill and motivation to write history for its own country. Each of the teams possesses its own leader, and here we like to share a few of them, that have proven to nurture exceptional motivation to reach the heights of Esports, confident in the mastery they acquired, spending countless in-game hours.
