World wide e-Sports associations have come together under the name of IOC-like(International Olympics Committee) to manage and operate e-Sports based on international standards. IeSF will once again systemize e-Sports through setting international standards for players, provisions, competitions, entries, and exchanging information with entry developers and other competition related institutions. South Korea which led the foundation of IeSF has now consolidated its stance as the homeland of e-Sports. Korea e-Sports Association chairman Kim Shin-bae(SK telecom, president) said “It is delightful to officially announce the foundation of IeSF for digital Olympics of intelligence and information society, collaborating with international e-Sports leaders at Busan Nurimaru where APEC leaders once met here. I will pull up my shoulders and lead IeSF’s efficient operations.”
