Tiffani Lim – From Player to IESF Athletes Committee Chairperson

Our athletes committee is dedicated to providing the best possible experience for our players and ensures they are well prepared and covered for the competitions!

Meet Tiffani Lim, starting out as a competitive DOTA 2 player, she now passes on her knowledge and experience to aspiring athletes.

What tips do you have when it comes to Esports?

“Esports-wise I’d say always stay humble and be willing to learn, because there’s no such thing as a ceiling when it comes to esports, the meta is ever-changing and there’s always going to be new playstyles and strategies, so don’t stagnate or stop improving or others will outmatch you in no time. A general tip I share to esports athletes is that integrity is everything, so always do the right thing even when nobody’s watching.

What is your education background?

“I was awarded the ASEAN scholarship and studied for a total of 10 years in Singapore. I majored in Political Science back in university.”

What are your experiences in Esports?

“Started out as a Dota 2 competitive player, competed in and won some Asia and SEA-level female leagues, went on to manage a pro team and did some talent & translation work at Dota 2 pro circuit tournaments. Went into event organizing since 2015 and now I’m doing Marketing & PR work at an esports organization called Battle Arena Malaysia.”

She continues to do amazing things on a regular basis!
