The Uzbekistan Esports Federation is a non-governmental non-profit organization responsible for the development of Esports in Uzbekistan, training of Esports athletes, internationally qualified Esports referees and coaches and holding international Esports competitions. The Uzbekistan Esports Federation was established in 2016 and its athletes represent Uzbekistan at international sports competitions. Taking into account the achievements of the Federation in the field of Esports, the National Olympic Committee of Uzbekistan allowed cyber athletes to participate in an international competition in Indonesia as members of the Olympic team of Uzbekistan. On this basis, the Federation became a full member of the Asian Esports Federation (AESF) and actively cooperates with the AESF to develop cybersports in Uzbekistan. The President of Uzbekistan Esports Federation, Mr.A.Pattakhov, has successfully participated in “One road and one belt” Esports conference, which was held in Xian, China and the federation was accepted as a member of the SCO eSports Union. Mr.A.Pattakhov is a member of the Executive Committee of SCO eSport Union. In 2018, the Federation started to cooperate with ALIBABA SPORTS and has been successfully participating in WESG – World Cyber Sport Championship and by signing a contract with this organization the Federation was the only organization to host WESG (a qualified World Championship) in the territory of Uzbekistan. Today, the Uzbekistan Esports Federation is an organization operating in the field of cybersports, supported by government agencies in Uzbekistan and fully demonstrates its ability to represent Uzbekistan in the international arena of Esports.
