ACCESSIBILITY STATEMENT

The International Esports Federation is committed to making iesf.org usable by the widest possible audience, regardless of ability or the technology someone uses to get here. Esports is played by everyone, and the systems that support it should be usable by everyone too.

iesf.org is partially conformant with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA. “Partially conformant” means that parts of this site do not yet fully meet the standard.

We are not currently under a statutory obligation to publish this statement. We publish it because we think anyone should be able to use this site, and because saying so publicly is what makes it something we can be held to.

We have not yet completed a formal accessibility audit of this site. We intend to commission one.

We already know the following areas need work. This list is not exhaustive, and it will be replaced with audited findings once the audit is complete.

• Competition brackets and match tables are complex interactive visualisations that have not yet been verified for keyboard-only or screen-reader use.
• Documents published by member federations (statutes, reports, bid materials) are supplied as PDFs and are not always tagged for screen readers.
• Video and streamed content does not consistently carry captions or audio description.
• Some older pages carry legacy markup from earlier versions of the site and have not been re-checked against the current standard.

If you encounter a barrier that is not listed here, please tell us using the contact below. It is genuinely useful, and it is how this list gets shorter.

Please include, where you can:

• the address (URL) of the page you had trouble with;
• a short description of what went wrong;
• the device, browser and any assistive technology you were using.

We will acknowledge your report within 10 working days and tell you what we intend to do about it. We prioritise barriers that stop someone completing a task entirely.

If you are not satisfied with our response, please reply to us directly and ask for it to be escalated. We will review it and come back to you.

Accessibility of iesf.org relies on the following technologies working in combination with your browser and any assistive technology you use: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and WAI-ARIA.

This statement is based on a self-assessment carried out by the International Esports Federation’s development team. It has not been independently reviewed. We intend to commission a formal audit against WCAG 2.2 level AA, and this statement will be updated with its findings.

This statement was prepared on 3 August 2026. It is reviewed at least annually, and after any major release of the site.
