IESF Member Categories

Associate Member

First level of membership in IESF before becoming a full member. The associate members of IESF have the privilege to participate in competitions and events organized by IESF. The associate members should apply for recognition from their national sports authority and follow the IESF rules and regulations.

Full Member

The highest level of membership in IESF, granting the National Federation all the benefits of membership, including voting on the General Assembly and nominating candidates for official positions.  Full membership also brings responsibilities, like organizing national qualifiers, participation in the general assembly, striving for official recognition, and active participation in IESF bodies and events.

Affiliate Member

Any organization that wants to officially collaborate with IESF and bring value to all members, can become an affiliate member. This allows collaboration with the member federations, authorized and supported by IESF.

How To Become IESF Member?

STEP 1 | Documentation collection

Please gather and submit all the necessary documents listed below:

  • Registration Documentation
  • Statutes
  • Organization Structure and Chart
  • Activity Report from the past three years
  • Development Plan (for at least 3 years from now)
  • Online digital presence details (e.g., social media links, streaming channels, website)
  • Esports Recognition (Government and/or National Olympic Committee) – if applicable

*Important Note: If the documentation is issued in the local language, please provide an English translation.

Complete the registration form with accurate and detailed information about your organization. Ensure that all sections are filled out correctly to avoid delays in the assessment process.

Once we receive your completed application, our team will review the submitted documentation and information to assess your organization’s eligibility and compliance with IESF’s membership criteria and the statutes. This assessment will include a thorough evaluation of your organization’s activities, structure, and plans.

Upon completing the assessment and verification process by the membership committee, your organization will be notified of its membership status. If approved by the IESF board or the General Assembly, you will be officially granted IESF Membership status.
